The Till-Tech Twister is the true “Vertical Tillage” machine. Our machine outperforms the competition in heavy soils and clay applications.
By utilizing heavier construction and unique ability to move the Coulters up to a 12 Degree angle as well as superior spring down pressure per cutting blade our machine can penetrate any soil conditions and stay in the ground.
In wet conditions, our machine is renowned for not “plugging” with debris and in the fall allowing the operator to effectively deal with wheat stubble and BT Corn stalks.
Utilize the “Twister” for pre-planting, run the machine at a 0 degree angle along your fields to open up the soil and speed up the drying process.
This allows for earlier planting and plant germination, we have found in Sow Beans, the stalk of the plant will grow quicker and higher using this method, thus the advantage in the fall is the ability to combine all of the pods of the plant and not having to leave the lower pods to rot away.
The side benefit to the higher stalk on the plant is that your Combine head does not have to be set so low that it runs on the ground thus causing wear and tear on the equipment and also the decreased amount of fuel used.
FALL:
The “Twister” is at its best when the conditions are at there toughest. Moving the Coulter bar to a more aggressive angle combined with our concave “Labrador Blades” provides a formidable 1-2 punch to chop through Wheat stubble and cover the residue with soil.
You can utilize the same set-up to chop and incorporate BT corn stalks without “plugging” even in wet conditions.
